Help with AOL Mail

Can I read my AOL e-mail from the Internet without using the AOL software?

Yes. You can access AOL Webmail by clicking the "Mail" link on the main AOL home page. Alternatively, you can go directly to AOL Webmail by typing into your browser.

You can also send and receive AOL e-mail on a mobile device with the AOL Mobile App or a native mail app for iOS and Android.

What is the maximum e-mail message size that AOL Members can receive from the Internet?

The largest piece of e-mail that an AOL member can receive from or send to the Internet is 25 Megabytes. This includes the message text, headers and the attachment combined. This size cannot be configured by the Member, or adjusted by the Postmaster Team.

I have received an e-mail with a MIME attachment. How can I decode it?

If you've received an attachment whose name ends in .mme, a MIME decoder will do the trick.

If the sender did not use MIME compliant e-mail software, a MIME decoder will definitely be needed. You can find more information on this topic on AOL at Keyword: Mime or on the AOL Help website.
